The Ageless Medical Facial

Maintain healthy, youthful skin with medical facials.

Medical Facials | True rejuvenation for skin at any age

Cooper City | Davie | Weston | Pembroke Pines

To achieve and maintain healthy, glowing, and youthful skin, it is extremely important to have a deep cleansing routine in the form of a medical facial. These powerful aesthetic treatments correct surface imperfections and generate the ageless looking skin everybody wants. At Ageless Medical, we recognize that each person’s skin is unique, so our experienced medical aestheticians thoroughly assess each client’s skin to design a customized medical facial to meet individual goals with deep cleaning medical facials using prescription strength skin cosmeceuticals.

better-looking, healthier skin

Our medical facials are designed to refine, repair, and rejuvenate the skin by employing extraction techniques to alleviate clogged pores and provide a very deep cleaning. Additionally, LED light therapy, specifically REVITALIGHT®, which has been FDA cleared for the treatment of acne and wrinkles, can be incorporated into our medical facials. REVITALIGHT® is a safe and effective advanced light technology designed to diminish the visible appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, and age spots by promoting “collagen firmness.” By incorporating prescription or medical grade products into our customized medical facials and by recommending a detailed product regimen for home use, we are able to provide our clients with a “results-oriented” skincare routine for healthier, younger-looking and -feeling skin.

Ageless Medical offers a full range of medical facials, HydraFacial, LED therapy, chemical peels, and microneedling at the most competitive prices in South Florida. We have several experienced medical aestheticians onsite, so we can usually handle walk-ins or same-day scheduling.

Types of Medical Facials

Ageless Medical Facial

Our flagship Facial, this facial provides the full spectrum of skincare, including deep cleansing and exfoliating, pore balancing treatment, skin nourishing treatment and peptide infusion treatment. For fans of natural, botanical products, this is the ultimate facial.

HydraFacial MD | HydraFacial MD with Peel

This treatment incorporates exfoliation with patented tips while simultaneously infusing serums and nutrients (Hyaluronic acid, Grape seed oil, Vitamin C & E) directly into your skin. This is a great treatment/facial to revitalize the skin before a special occasion by removing your skin’s dead cells that make your skin look dull. The HydraFacial MD treatment helps you regain a healthy glow to the skin and is effective for all skin types.

Our Facial combined with the strength of the diamond microdermabrasion mechanical peel to enhance youthful skin while reducing irritation. From minimizing fine lines to improving your pores, microdermabrasion provides many benefits. Microdermabrasion benefits aging skin, fine lines, wrinkles, brown spots/pigmentation, acne scars, congested skin, enlarged pores, blemished skin, devitalized skin, dull skin and thickened skin.

Teen Facial

This facial is the same protocol as the Ageless Medical Facial without massage. More emphasis is put on extracting the skin. Good for teen skin especially ones that have problematic skin.

What is a HydraFacial MD?

HydraFacial removes dead skin cells and extracts impurities like microdermabrasion does, but it also simultaneously bathes the new skin with cleansing, hydrating, and moisturizing serums. It is the only skin resurfacing procedure that provides both non-invasive exfoliation and simultaneous delivery of skin-specific topical solutions.

Living in Florida, especially during the summer, can make our skin very dehydrated. When skin cells are not fully hydrated, they cannot function at their optimal level, and the free radical aging process is accelerated. Instead of blasting the skin with gritty crystals, which is what happens during dry exfoliation like microdermabrasion, HydraFacial MD adds moisture to the equation, and the procedure blasts the skin with serums, such as botanicals, antioxidants, hyaluronic acids, glycolic acids, and salicylic acids. First, the outer layer of your skin is compromised through an exfoliation and extraction process. Then, during the hydration process, beneficial compounds are infused deep into your skin with increased effectiveness.

A HydraFacial MD treatment takes as little as 30 minutes, and there is no discomfort during the process. The results are immediate. You achieve a “dewy” look and glow instantly, which may last for five to seven days or even longer. A series of treatments is recommended for improving fine lines, wrinkles, hyperpigmentation, and oily or acne prone skin. This is considered a “lunchtime” procedure because it is quick, and you can return to your normal activity right after the treatment since there is no downtime. You may have seen this extremely innovative and effective procedure in InStyle magazine or featured on “The Doctors” television show.

Microdermabrasion v. HydraFacial MD

Microdermabrasion is the procedure in which the outermost surface of the skin is partially removed by light abrasion. The fresh skin just below the surface is then exposed, creating a glowing new complexion. Microdermabrasion is used to remove sun-damaged skin and to remove or lessen scars and dark spots on the skin. It is also used in the treatment of fine lines, acne, acne scars, and enlarged pores, as well as to improve the texture of the skin.

Although this treatment has many benefits, professional microdermabrasion
can bruise or discolor the skin if done incorrectly. The vacuum action tends to cause blemishes if the skin tension is released or uneven. The lip area is particularly susceptible to bruising, and the eyelids should never be treated with microdermabrasion. Treatment that is too deep or intense can cause permanent discoloration to the skin. For this reason and because HydraFacial is much more effective for fine lines and wrinkles, we no longer offer microdermabrasion in our office.

Common Questions

It varies from person to person. Ideally, you should get a medical facial every 4 to 6 weeks because that’s how long it takes the skin to regenerate. You may need it more frequently if you are trying to clear up a case of acne, especially at the beginning. Otherwise, once a month is plenty. But if that frequency is not possible for you, try to have a medical facial at least 4 times a year, one with each season change.

Medical facials work well in tandem with variety of aesthetic medical treatments, and they can enhance and extend the length of time needed between injectables and skin tightening treatments. Before a skin resurfacing laser treatment, a medical facial will clean and prepare your pores. Our medical practitioners and aestheticians can recommend the best treatment combinations to meet your individual goals.

How do celebs of all ages keep their perfect complexions? Genetics are only part of the answer. The real secret to consistently clear skin comes from the deep-down clean that only regular medical facials provide. A spa facial may feel good, but it’s usually a lot of fluff and puff meant to relax you. A medical facial differs from an everyday salon facial in that we use high-percentage, medical-grade solutions to make facials seriously effective. Because we are a medical facility, our full-time dermatology nurse practitioner is able to perform deep extractions if necessary. This is how we can get your skin truly clean and what a spa facial will not do.

Together, our Ageless Medical aestheticians have decades of experience and will recommend the ideal medical facial treatment plan for your individual needs, skin type, and goals. The treatments we perform are always done with safety and effectiveness in mind, so you can feel confident knowing you will see results while having a comfortable experience at Ageless Medical.
