Because it is injected subdermally, Voluma adds volume and curve back to the cheek area, lifting the face from below. Voluma is also used to restore definition to the chin and jawline.
With a thicker consistency and special VYCROSS technology, Voluma can last as long as two years before a touch-up is needed. You can expect your results to last at least 12-18 months.
Voluma is injected deeper than other dermal filler products, so to offset discomfort, lidocaine has been added to the product. You may feel a prick from the needle, but discomfort caused by the product should be minimal.
