What is CoolTone
Meet CoolTone, Allergan’s latest innovation in body contouring. CoolTone is a noninvasive body contouring treatment that uses Magnetic Muscle Stimulation (MMS) technology to strengthen, tone, and firm the muscles of the abdomen, buttocks, and thighs. CoolTone uses high-powered coil electromagnetic stimulation applicators to induce nerve action potential depolarizations for supramaximal contractions in muscle tissue resulting in increased muscle mass and strength. The frequency of muscle contractions produced by CoolTone are at a supernatural level that cannot be achieved by normal exercise. We recommend the treatment for individuals who want more definition and tone.

What Can I Expect?
The first step is to come in for a consultation, where we walk you through the procedure. If you are determined to be eligible, we will identify the areas of concern and invite you to your first session. Depending on the area or areas being treated, the CoolTone procedure may last from 45 minutes to one hour. Patients can resume their regular routines, including exercise and work, directly after; this makes it the perfect procedure to be performed on your lunch break.
We recommend four initial treatments and then four to eight maintenance treatments within the year, depending on your goals. On average, patients can expect to undergo the first four treatments in two weeks, though the exact number of sessions needed depends on the person and the areas being treated.
